"Cal Countdown" is an iOS and Apple Watch application that simplifies time management by automatically generating a color-coded countdown to your next calendar event. The app's main functionality serves as a complication on Apple Watch or as a widget.

In the midst of busy schedules filled with numerous meetings, the constant question of "How much time until my next appointment?" often arises. "Cal Countdown" eliminates the need for manual calculations by displaying this information directly on your Apple Watch face or "Today" screen.

The color-changing feature of the app offers visual cues based on time remaining until the upcoming event: blue for over 6 hours, green for 2-6 hours, yellow for 1-2 hours, orange for 30-60 minutes, and red for 0-30 minutes.

"Cal Countdown" seamlessly integrates with various Apple Watch complications where applicable. The color-coding feature is supported for complications that allow multi-color displays.

Operating "Cal Countdown" is straightforward as it leverages existing calendar data on your device without the need for additional sign-ins or entries. Users can easily select which calendars to include in their countdowns.

For users without an Apple Watch, the app functions as an iPhone/iPad application with a "Today" widget, offering accessibility beyond wearable devices.

Not requiring an account or internet connection, "Cal Countdown" prioritizes data security by exclusively utilizing locally stored calendar information. Your privacy is maintained as all data remains on your device.

Additionally, the app provides a convenient feature to ignore or skip specific events on your calendar. This functionality proves beneficial for those managing shared calendars with family, friends, or colleagues, allowing customization of countdowns based on personal attendance preferences.
